Carolyn Bennett
Carolyn studied Psychology at Manchester University and went on to train as a graduate qualitative researcher at the Research Centre in London where she became a director after seven years. She was then head hunted and moved into advertising, as a senior planner, working for the Saatchi’s owned agency KHBB. After this she went on to open her own company (Sirius Research Ltd) with a fellow planner and researcher in 1989. After becoming a mum she went back to working as an independent consultant and qualitative researcher and started Ipso Facto Research Ltd, which she has run for the last twenty years. During this period she worked at ?What If! Innovation, (full time for two years, part time thereafter) where she ran new product development projects and explored brand identities for the purposes of brand extension work.
Louise Mai Newberry
A graduate of Cambridge University with a post-graduate diploma from East 15 Acting School Louise Mai worked at ?What If! Innovation for 4 years as a project leader where she met Carolyn. She combines her skills of relating to and understanding people and their behaviours from the world of acting, with her business and marketing knowledge to work as a business coach and facilitator. She specialises in working with senior leaders in delivering leadership messages, talent management, feedback skills, difficult conversations and competency-based interviewing.
